Ayurveda, which literally means “knowledge of life,” is a health-care system that dates back over 5,000 years to India’s Vedic civilization. This incredible longevity, as well as the rising interest in Ayurveda in the Western world, demonstrates how the principles of this therapeutic system may enhance our lives in a variety of ways, both great and little. Because all three of these domains are interrelated, Ayurveda urges you to establish a balance between your body, mind, and spirit. What is the best way to keep things in check? It is a way of life, a constant effort in our everyday routines. We may make dietary and lifestyle choices that will lead to health, longevity, and attaining our full potential with the help of this ancient knowledge.
It is not only about making big changes in your life and adopting new habits to live a fit and healthy lifestyle; it is also about paying attention to your daily, everyday routine.
“It (Ayurveda) is a way of life, a daily effort in our habits,” said Abishek Ramesh, Executive Director – Kairali Ayurvedic Groupand Ayurvedic expert. We may make dietary and lifestyle
choices that will lead to health, longevity–and realising our greatest potential in life–with the help of this ancient wisdom!”
“Because all three of these worlds are connected, Ayurveda advises creating a balance between your body, mind, and spirit,” he continued.
He explains a few key Ayurvedic behaviours that can help people live a better lifestyle. Look over it.
Getting out of bed
Early mornings, at least one hour before sunrise, are ideal.
Drops in the nose (Nasya)
Add two drops of Kairali’s Anu Thailam, sesame oil, mustard oil, or ghee to the mixture. It keeps hair from greying prematurely, prevents baldness, and promotes restful sleep.
Workout (Vyayama)
Exercising first thing in the morning might help to remove toxins from the body and recharge and renew it.
Dental care is important.
Fresh neem (Azadirachta indica), khadir (Acacia catechu), and other plants can be used to clean teeth and eliminate bad odours.
A bath (Snana)
After your workout, take a bath for half an hour to an hour.
Add some spice to it.
Spices aid digestion, heart health, and inflammation reduction. Cumin, coriander, ginger, and turmeric are good places to start.
Dinner should be light.
A small meal before 8 p.m. is recommended by Ayurveda. It allows the metabolic components to rest during the night.
Snooze (Nidra)
Maintain a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Sleeping throughout the day should be avoided. Sleep is essential for good health and life.
