    Why Navarakizhi Ayurvedic Treatment?

This strengthening therapy provides nutrients to tissues that are depleted and degenerating. It also has a very calming and analgesic effect. This is a tried-and-true therapy for those suffering from musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders.

The roots of Sida Cordifolia or Balamula are cooked in water to make a decoction called BalaKwath for the Navarakizhi process. Before using the roots for the operation, they are carefully washed anddisinfected with sterile water. After that, the decoction is split into two halves. One portion of the decoction is mixed with milk and heated over a low flame, while the other part is mixed with milk and rice and cooked. The poultices are now ready. Cooked rice is placed on pieces of sterile fabric that are tied and firmly wrapped.

    Karma Purva

The Navarakizhi treatment begins with an abhyangam oil massage. Amalaki Tala-dharana may be conducted to avoid the heat from damaging the brain and sensory organs since the technique generates perspiration by applying heat for more than an hour.

    Pradhan Karma

The Pradhan Karma necessitates four attendants or masseurs who operate in unison. The attendants dip the poultices in the continually warmed medicinal milk and rub them on the individual’s body in a rhythmic manner. The strokes are often delivered in a downward manner from the nape of the neck to the lower back, hips, and feet, while also covering all of the body’s joints. During the operation, when the poultices cool, they are replaced with fresh, heated ones. This continues without interruption for the period specified.

    Paschat Karma

After the Pradhan Karma, the poultices are opened, and the rice is gently spread over the individual’s body for a few minutes before being cleansed with a tissue or sterile cloth. The Tala-dharana is carefully removed, and the head is wiped clean with a sterile towel. After the treatment, a hot water shower is recommended to remove the oil from the head and body.

This therapy is not advised for diabetic people unless the benefits exceed the dangers.High blood pressure – local problems in joints and soft tissues can be treated, but only under the guidance of a skilled specialist.Veins with severe varicosity, Fractures caused by deep vein thrombosis, Fever and Inflammation that is severe

ShashtikaShali Pinda Sweda is an Ayurvedic therapy that employs natural substances. As a result, it is risk-free and has no adverse effects. If the bolus applied to the skin is excessively hot, some individuals may get superficial burns.
